Harald DF2WO tells me he’ll be at XT2AW starting Sept. 29 to Oct. 30. This will be a one-man operation. He plans to be on 60m about every night. With conditions the way they are, he may be on JT65 and FT8 more than CW or SSB. QSL to M0OXO.

He informs me that he will arrive on September 25th, and plans to build antennas on the 26th, which is a Hexbeam at 8 meters high and dipoles for the lower bands. Activity will be holiday style on 40-10 meters using CW, SSB and the Digital modes. He states that he works mostly on the Digital modes (PSK31, JT65 and RTTY)

and slow CW. Harald states, "As soon as the conditions go up to USA, I will work the US. Also, I will test 60m a little." Radio is a FT-450D. QSL via M0OXO, direct or OQRS <http://www.m0oxo.com/oqrs/>.

3Y0 - BOUVET ISLAND: From their website

The January-February, 2018 3Y0Z Bouvet Island DXpedition team has posted a propagation page on their website (http://www.bouvetdx.org).  It has videos showing propagation predictions for that early 2018 timeframe.  The tab for the propagation is in the header menu.  You can choose time, frequency and signal strength for your QTH.  This is based on the average sunspot numbers forecast for January, 2018.

60m Website: The 60m website is: www.60metersonline.com

Please send your station picture with you in it to webmaster@60metersonline.com and he will be happy to post it with the others. It’s nice to put a face with a call. On the website we have a 60m DXCC country count. It has nothing to do with the ARRL DXCC award. Go to Achievements, DX Awards and you’ll see who is on our country leader board. Feel free to send your totals to the webmaster for posting. As you work a new one, advise our webmaster to update your listing webmaster@60metersonline.com _____________________________________________________________________________

If you know of a friend going on a Dxpedition, please encourage them to operate the 60m band and keep me posted so I may pass the word.
