VP5: VP5/W5CW was on 5405 CW last night
"The Swedish Post&Telecom (PTS) is from end of October 2016 issuing temporary (6 month) experimental licenses for 5351.5 – 5366.5. This replace the previous four 3 KHz segments that been used during the past years. The fee is approx. 30 USD/period. There is still no decision if the Post&Telecom will implement the WRC-15 recommendation in our national band plan. Probably not before January 2018 or when a new national band plan is released. Before the WRC-15 recommendation is implemented in the band plan any person can apply for an experimental license, also non-hams."

South Africa: ZS6EZ Chris is going into his summer season. He has been spotted on 5259.5 QSX on 5354 – 5259.5 CW.
Bernard reported this was a temporary experimental permit. These are the 25 qso. Our main goal was CW 80 to 10m, but this permit "open the door" for the next expeditions (italian in February ?). Noise was average at these hours of activity. Ant inverted V apex 12m 73 Bernard F9IE

Please send your station picture with you in it to email@example.com and we will be happy to post it with the others. It’s nice to put a face with a call. On the website we have a 60m DXCC country count. It has nothing to do with the ARRL DXCC award. Go to Achievements, DX Awards and you’ll see who is on our country leader board. Feel free to send your totals to the webmaster for posting. As you work a new one, advise our webmaster to update your listing firstname.lastname@example.org
If you know of a friend going on a DXpedition please encourage them to operate the 60m band and keep me posted so I may pass the word.
